Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the filters in the base of the washing compartment regularly to prevent blockages and ensure optimal performance. Make sure they are correctly positioned after cleaning.
Check Water Supply
Ensure the water tap is open and that the filter in the threaded hose fitting is clean to maintain proper water flow. If the water tap is blocked with limescale, it should be checked and repaired if necessary.
Correct Loading
Arrange dishes and cutlery in a way that the spray arms can rotate freely. Overloading the baskets can prevent cleaning water from reaching all items.
Use Quality Detergent
Ensure you are using a good quality detergent in the right amount to avoid residue and scale deposits on dishes. Adjust the rinse aid dosage if dried water drops appear on glasses and dishes.
Water Softener Maintenance
Check that the dishwasher salt dispenser is filled and that the water softening system is correctly set to prevent scale deposits.
